Gas Appliance Test Bench (WH-RQ)

The Gas Appliance Test Bench (Model WH-RQ) is a configurable end-of-line and laboratory platform for gas stoves, gas cookers, wall-hung boilers and gas water heaters. Instead of buying a separate machine for every appliance type, manufacturers use the WH-RQ to run combustion-performance, safety-protection and thermal-efficiency tests on a single frame with interchangeable fixtures. The bench performs 12+ test items, supports both LPG and natural gas, and records every measurement with 0.5-class accuracy and an automatic pass/fail verdict.

This is the broadest station in the Wanhe range and the recommended starting point when one plant builds several gas-appliance categories or shares a single QC line across products. Test methods are aligned with EN 30, EN 26, EN 15502, GB 16410 and IEC 60335, so the same bench can support both production QC and certification preparation. The WH-RQ is configured to the standards of each target market. Gas cookers follow EN 30-1-1 requirements and China’s GB 16410 gas cooker standard; gas water heaters follow EN 26 and GB 6932; wall-hung and combi boilers follow EN 15502 and EN 297; general electrical safety for gas appliances follows IEC 60335-2-102. How the Test Sequence Works

1. Mount the appliance on the interchangeable fixture and connect gas, water and exhaust sensors.
2. Select the appliance type and standard on the touch-screen HMI; the PLC loads the corresponding thresholds.
3. The bench runs the automated sequence — ignition, combustion, efficiency, tightness, flame failure and emission checks.
4. Results are logged in real time, compared with limits and presented as a pass/fail report for export.
