The Temperature Humidity Chamber (WH-CJ Series) is a programmable climatic test chamber that reproduces controlled temperature and humidity environments to verify the reliability and environmental adaptability of home appliances, electronic assemblies and components. It supports high-temperature, low-temperature, damp-heat and thermal-cycling programs required by IEC 60068 and GB/T 2423, helping manufacturers expose material, sealing and electronics failures before products leave the factory.
What the Chamber Tests
- High & low temperature exposure – validates operation and storage performance from -40 °C to +150 °C with programmable ramp rates.
- Damp-heat & humidity cycling – reveals condensation, corrosion and insulation weaknesses at 20–98% RH.
- Thermal shock cycling – repeated heating and cooling cycles expose solder joints, plastic parts and seal degradation.
- Aging & endurance runs – long-duration programs for accelerated life testing of finished appliances.
How the Control System Works
A touch-screen HMI with a PLC runs multi-step programs that set temperature, humidity, dwell time and ramp slope, while forced-air circulation keeps the chamber uniform to within ±2.0C. Every reading is logged automatically, and over-temperature, over-pressure and water-shortage interlocks protect both the specimen and the operator. For guidance on sizing and program selection, see our article on how to choose a temperature humidity chamber.
Typical Applications
Home-appliance manufacturers use the chamber for climatic aging of finished products; component makers run temperature and humidity cycling on parts and materials; certification laboratories rely on it for standardized qualification. Where a broader set of environmental stresses is needed – including salt spray or vibration configurations – it is often paired with our larger environmental test chamber platform.
Key Benefits at a Glance

Compliance & Calibration
Test methods align with IEC 60068, GB/T 2423 and ISO 16750 series climatic standards, and the chamber is designed for straightforward third-party calibration. We recommend a periodic calibration and maintenance schedule as described in our calibration and maintenance guide; for electrical-safety testing of the appliance itself, our IEC 60335 overview explains the complementary requirements.
